In 2024, when I asked Chef Alberto if he knew of any new farms we should be working with, he said one word: 'Benevolence.'

 

I reached out to Wesley and Malaya tout de suite. After touring the grounds with them, I was fully captured by their knowledge, enthusiasm, and desire to connect with the community.

 

The morning of our first dinner with Benevolence, Wesley greeted our team out in the field with a wagon full of fresh pastries and coffee. If that isn't the embodiment of the Meadow Lark spirit, I don't know what is.  With hospitality and kindness at their core, they tend their small scale diverse, organic Orchard & Garden located in Boulder, CO. The sloping landscape gives way to big skies and an epic view of the flatirons. An absolutely stunning backdrop for a dinner.
